how do i get into and play tourneys plz ?

There isn't a automatic thing where in the game you sign up and say "Im in this tourney." you just have to find a place on the internet that organizes tournaments, then sign up and play against who the roster says. I am part of a tourney that wiiregister is having right now, but I think Guitarhero.com also has tournaments, so you might want to check that out.

Yeah guitarhero.com has official tournaments with prizes. All you have to do is enter via the website, and then play the song list it gives you. Your highest scores are automatically uploaded to your profile on the website (as long as you have linked your accounts) and the person with the highest score wins a T-Shirt or something like that.
