Default Nintendo Shows Super Smash Bros. Brawl Release Date as 1st June
The eagle-eyed staff over at Gaming News, Reviews, Previews, Cheats & Tips - ComputerAndVideoGames.com noticed this rather interesting piece of info on the Nintendo UK website:

As you can see, it clearly states the release date of Super Smash Bros Brawl to be on th 1st June 2008, Just over 5 months away

However, since that screen shot was taken, the release date has changed to just 2008. Clicky. So was it simply a Typo? or did Nintendo release more info than they were planning to?

Either way, it doesn't look like it's heading to the UK any sooner

The anticipation for this game is immense. I've never played SSB before so will be taking it as it comes. Maybe I should write an unbiased review for it once it comes out. I'm not into one on one fighting games, and haven't been since Streetfighter II first burst onto the scene on SNES. I got the american version with a proper dodgy converter that was basically just the circuit boards. I think the game cost me around £60 and the converter £25. I had it weeks, if not months before any of my mates. My dad went mad when he found out me and my bro had spent our wages on it! (We started working with my dad when I was 9 - he is a builder).
