Rock Band For Wii?
It's been long rumoured that rock band would come to the Wii and something spotted recently on the shelves in America has fueled those rumours once again!
Quote:
A new Rock Band peripheral has recently been seen in the wild, offering a higher quality microphone for Harmonix's riff-'em-up. Interestingly, the official peripheral boasts that it's compatible with the Nintendo Wii, fanning rumours of an imminent release of the game on the console.
Certainly a step in the right direction!
This is a game I have been hyped up about ever since I first heard of it, so I'm praying for a Wii release in the future!
Zelda, Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart, Guitar Hero III, Guitar Hero: World Tour, Battalion Wars 2, Medal of Honour: Heroes 2, Mario Strikers Charged, Excite Truck, Rayman Raving Rabbids, Big Brain Academy, Metal Slug: Anthology, Wii Play, PES 2008, Endless Ocean, Super Paper Mario
DS:
Mario Kart, More Brain Training, Advance Wars: Dark Conflict, 42 All Time Classics, Project rub, Animal Crossing: Wild World, Yoshi's Island DS, Picross DS
360:
Halo 3, Mass Effect, COD 4, Ghost Recon, FIFA 09, Top Spin 3, Portal: Still Alive, Geometry Wars 2: Evolved
Oh great, just when I get it for the PS3, it has chance of coming for wii, but then again, there are other games that may require the microphone, so maybe harmonix wants in on the familys buying remotes in sets of 4
I know this is a little off-topic and on-topic but do you think they will ever bring the likes of Singstar to the Wii...with a microphone of course...
I think that this would be a good addition to the console, seems like ninty may have over looked this type of media game
Boogie ?????
But I totally agree with you mate, Singstar is great on the PS2 and a similar title would be great - hopefully with original reordings - unlike boogies-song-made-famous-by-dodgy-background-elevator-music-efforts.
Bring on Rock band tho, wonder if there will ever be a link to Guitar Hero 3????
Now theres an idea!
You could have a Person with the Wireless guitar, another with a mic, and another using the (soon-to-be-released) wiimotes acting as drumsticks.
Sound far fetched?? Realisticly its not that far away.
I found Boogie to be ok. Not a great deal of variation on the sing able tracks, but fun nevertheless. I've had a good laugh with 'You Can't Touch This' MC Hammer, and 'Karma Chameleon', and the Blondie track. Aimed at a younger audience though because the story mode is just too easy to finish.
