Nintendo: Full DS Games Not Coming to Wii Afterall
Turns out that New York Times story didn't just mix up the DS and PSP's features, oh and misspell Reggie's name twice, it also screwed up what exactly was downloadable to the Wii as a full-blown game and what was just for demos.
That's right, according to Nintendo, the Wii will not be able to transmit or download full DS games. Apparently the New York Times confused DS demos with WiiWare titles. So you can download full on Wii games, but only wireless DS demo game.

Emarassing times for the New York Times!
Doesn't make much difference to me as I don't have a DS, but I'm sure the people that do would've liked this feature... Surely if you can download a full Wii game then a DS game shouldn't be any problem?

The DS' "Download Play" memory for demos is only in use while the DS is turned on, turn it off and the demo vanishes and has to be redownloaded from the Wii or someone elses DS if they have the full game.
So there wouldn't be much point having full games available for the DS via the Wii seen there's no way of keeping them on the DS, and no way of saving your progress on the DS either.
