A great little story from Australia here which shows Nintendo really are 'The People's Console'

Taylor Smith, from Corio in Geelong, Victoria, was diagnosed with the degenerative muscle disease arthrogryposis at birth - she has limited movement in her arms and legs. Despite this unfortunate affliction, she has apparently exhibited a willingness to overcome her condition. A family friend, Tony Watkins, decided to see whether she was able to play his family's Wii. He attached the Wii Remote to Smith's using hair ties, and she found she was able to play.

Watkins wrote to Nintendo about the situation, and Nintendo responded by delivering a free console to Smith's family home just before Christmas. Smith says she likes baseball most.
