Wii Voice Chat Still Being Considered

Voice chat ruined xbox live for me. I'd always switch it off.

I used to play mohaa online a lot and used to use teamspeak for it. Unless you have your own private groups it would be a nightmare listening to everyone who hadnt set it up properly (TOO LOUD or too quiet). I wont go into all the swearing but it became really really annoying after a very short space of time. Besides all that, whats the point when you can type to people anyway!!!

That's the point with the Wii - YOU can't type to people.

If you could plug in a usb keyboard and just type it would be fine but the wii doesn't even allow that. It is just basically a bunch of random people running around shooting each other online.

You can plug in a USB keyboard and you will be able to type on the Wii, or are you just talking about using a keyboard during the game?

I see what you mean. I presume Ninendo will fix that at some stage but anything more than that (i.e Voice chat) would ruin any game in my opinion!!

the time i can see voice chat working at its best is when you are online against some friends. because you can banter with them a lot easier and etc

OH NO!! people would hear me (attempting) to sing along to GH3 (when i clearly dont know any of em other than schools out for summer!) as well as calling everyone of my characters on other games very inpolite words and telling them all to die when i cant do something on it!!!!

I personally think that a headset would be a great addition to Nintendo's hardware because a lot of people would buy it! It would work wonders with MOH2 Heroes with it's 32 player online function....And for those people who don't think a headset is a good idea, DON'T BUY ONE! No one is forcing you.

the hubby plays mohaa and cod on the pc and he uses that teamspeak and some dmw thing.i dont understand it much.but they used to have their own team going on and have regular matches (they were called the dogs sumthing-cant remeber i will have to ask him) - until they all went their seperate ways and he just now goes on for fun.altho hes gettin a little fed up as he says too many people cheat and can see through the walls or something i dunno?

Lol. Yeah me 2. Its a wallhack!! I used to be in a team called -=TTM=- . I used to really like all the stuff yo do with it but i know what he means about the cheating. It became a nightmare!!
