November Sales Data Released
Well it's been, unsuprisingly, another cracking month for the boys and girls at Ninty!
NPD Group (A video games software sales tracker) have just released the data for November and the DS + Wii still reign supreme at 1st and second respectively.
Sales Chart(Last months figures)
DS - 1.5 Million (458,000) Wii - 981,000 (519,000) Xbox 360 - 770,000 (366,000) PSP - 567,000 Playstation 2 - 496,000 Playstation 3 - 466,000 (121,000)
As for games, Call of Duty 4 for the 360 topped the charts this month with nearly 1.5 Million copies sold... and that was for the Xbox version alone!
Our good old friend Mario came second with 1.1 Million and further down the charts there was Wii Play at number 5 with 560,000 units sold and Guitar hero III at number 8 with 425,000.
Just out of the top ten was Mario and Sonic at number 11 with 330,000 units sold.
So overall another great month for Nintendo and I think December could prove to be even better!

PS3 sales have shot up, haven't they! I'm glad to see that as well, as I think we need the 3 big consoles on the market for healthy competition.
I would hate to see one of them go the way of the Dreamcast etc.
But great news, if a little obvious!!!
Nintendo rulez!
Games owned (that I play): EA Playground, Endless Ocean, Excite Truck, Ghost Squad, Gottlieb Pinball, HotD, Kororinpa, Link’s Crossbow Training, Mario Kart, Mario Party 8, MySims, Pinbusters, RE:UC, Super Paper Mario, SSB Brawl, Wii Fit, Wii Play, Wii Sports
As Sue mentioned, it's good to see PS3 sales, finally, going up.
Well done, Sony.
Well, perversely, this increases the pressure on Sony to sell software to offset the increased loss associated with the higher volume of hardware sales. Somebody somewhere in Sony is doubtless keeping their fingers crossed that the third party software sells well…..
God appeared to have reacted badly to Bede's prayer for electricity to charge his DS
