Wii helps quicker recovery from Brain Damage!
Is there no limit to what our beautiful little white box can do?!
Not content with being the most innovative and fun console on the market, it now seems the Wii has taken a turn towards health as well!
Headway (A UK Brain-Injury charity) believe that patients who play the Wii are recovering quicker! As usual the console was bought for the younger patients, but there's little surprise that the older ones are joining in too!

Brain-injury victims have trouble with all sorts of things, such as hand-eye coordination, concentration and attention span. The Wii seems to improve all of them
Scientifically, when hands cross the middle of the body both halves of the brain become involved, a crucial process in stimulating signaling pathways
'Where's the proof?!' I hear you cry! Well, A couple of success stories include a 38 year old man who can now grasp objects in his right hand after playing Wii sports and a 62 year old glad to have his heart pumping since being confined to a Wheelchair in 2004.
What a great story! It really shows that the Wii allows almost anyone to pick up a remote and play
