Default This week's V... WiiWare Release!

As mentioned a couple of weeks ago, Europe was the only region to have a VC game released in the same week as WiiWare. Well it seems Nintendo have decided to even things up by not releasing any new VC additions this week

However, all is not lost as a brand new WiiWare game has been made available!

It's a classic puzzle game that goes by the name of Action Loop Twist(AKA Zuma, Puzz Loop). Apparently packed full of options, in both Multiplayer and single player, but no online play.

Unfourtunately the control system sounds like a total mess to me It's a real shame as I really liked Puzz Loop and this is one of the most addictive puzzlers around!

However, for a 1000 Wii Points, you could do a lot worse

lol. I think there was a game like this on the bonus cartridge for "Chintendo Vii"

Looks like fun, but I am afraid I could just go find a free flash version online, so I won't be buying this. Not to mention I am still wary of using my Card because of the last time when I didn't get my points.

After seeing no VC news Friday I decided to launch the shop to see what was there and found this waiting. I really enjoy Puzzloop 1&2 on MAME, so dropping 1000 points on this was a no-brainer. Great amusing use of the Mii (the eyes bugging out when the gems get to the danger zone is quite distracting) and the gameplay is just as great with two different solo modes in addition to various multiplayer versions which can also be played against AI-controlled opponents as well.

Online would have been superior, but the variety in the levels and varying goals give this loads of replayability.

Another great puzzle title for the Wii!
