I think this game would be pretty cool for the person that likes movies such as Saw 1,2,3. But using the Wiimote chopping people into little bits that go into our curries is really realistic...

I personally think it should be banned, whereas many would disagree...

But you gotta blame the deranged lunatics that go out and want to do the real thing! I mea how stupid can you get...

I think Rockstar games is the Quentin Tarantino of the gaming industry. You have to take everything they do with a pinch of salt. Why should they ban this? Just to avoid that parents buy it for their kids? Well than they'll buy Scarface or Resident Evil 4 instead. Is that better for the kids?
I think it's hypocricy. It's the same thing I thought when I saw 'Green blood' in Japanese releases of violent games. Are you serious????!!!

i totally agree!! why should games like this be banned! as if im gonna say to my son 'now when you go out i dont wanna hear of you choppin peoples heads off you hear!' as if... yes there are some deranged loons out there who like to say 'the game made me do it' yeh right! but if they wanna ban a game for what its go tin it... what about fighting games, surely if the reasons they are banning the games is for the brutal contents, why not ban every other game that involves killing things, beating the hell outts things! we just seem to be turning into a pathetic society.

Latest news reports suggest that Manhunt 2 may finally be heading its way in to the UK.

As with Carmageddon which was the first game to be 'banned' in the UK, a "toned-down" version of the game is being sent to the BBFC.

In the USA the game has already been reclassified as a 17+ game and not an 18+ game. Nintendo has a rule that they wont release 18+ games on their consoles so it looks like they just about got around this rule in the USA!

Let's hope the BBFC likes the rejigged game and gives it a lower classification.

All going well it could be out by Christmas...

Well, I'm keeping my eye on imports, because two countries (Sweden and Denmark) have so far stated that they would allow the game to be released uncensored. So if Rockstar do release the uncensored version anywhere I'll be trying (like many other people) to get it imported from there!

I don't think I would be able to play the unedited version of this game as i have seen all the Saw films at the cinema - and when I say 'seen' what i really mean is 'covered my eyes with my hands through most of the film' when all the gorey bits were shown, which is pretty much most of the films!
