Is it me or has it suddenly got quiet around here?

We seem to have covered most (if not all) of the recent software titles and hardware accessories that are currently available for the Wii and have even moved on to irreverent topics such as the fantastic Picture Battle thread that some of us have been taking part in!

We're even at the point now where the odd duplicate threads are appearing (more use of the search feature needed I think) that end up in the Hall Of Shame!

Is the honeymoon period over for the Nintendo Wii or is this the lull before the storm?

Only time will tell...

I hope you are right!

If not, it means we've reached the part of every relationship where all communication is purely by grunting. And then you'll run off with the babysitter leaving us with a mountain of debt and emotional scars a mile wide.

I don't think it is quite that bad!

Lets hope you are right and that it is the lull before the storm and that the storm arrives pretty sharpish!

I know it is a bit early to mention the C word (but I'm going to anyway), but at Christmas this year we will see a Wii explosion!!!

I normally begin my 'its too early to think about Christmas' rant in August!!! I could be tempted to start early this year.............!

Seriously though, I was reading This article on Bloomberg about how the software companies were caught out by the success of the Wii. It explains a little why there are not many games at the moment and also that if we're patient, they will come!

I agree, I think there is still plenty more to come from Nintendo.

In terms of new members the board is booming and the post rate is growing as well.

I would be interested to know if there is anything we could add to the board while we wait for some more exciting news...!

Thats an interesting article on bloomberg....

The wait will be worth it...!
