I've got to a campaign that is really hard!! My troops have been little more than cannon fodder........resulting in a miserable failure each time (without giving too much away). Should keep me busy while waiting for Virgin to install the broadband (booked in for 4/3/08 - can't wait!).

Hey! am I late? lol. I just got battalion wars today. I was in town, and was actually planning on getting metroid, but i saw battalion wars and fancied something different. I'll have to exchange codes and get some war buddies! I'll put mine in my sig actually

Fraze, you've made a good choice there! Not played Metroid myself, but am loving BW2!!!! I've been trying to get a S or A rank before moving on, but just can't help it. Quality game - takes a bit of getting use to but all good the same!!

yeah it seems like it takes a while to get used to, Im really likeing it at the moment though. I cant do a commando roll thing either :(

When you are a Grunt, or Flame/Bazooka/etc Vet, while running left or right, for e.g. Hold right on the control stick ---> then flick the Nunchuck to the right. He should roll (a bit) across the battlefield! Helps to avoid Flame Vets and constant fire from opposition Grunts and sometimes Gunships......

I have got this game too (on Friday). Seems awesome so far. I am just trying to get past each level and not going for S or A ranks although maybe I should!

I tried online and got seriously whopped! Online seems to be a great function of this game with so much scope to improve and improve your rank!

Looking forward to getting better and playing some of you online!

I brought this game on the friday after release, i play two missions on the first campaign, then went online, cant get of it most of the time, amazing game. Can any one persuade me to play the single player game, i wanna do it, jus cant because of the online lol.

The single player is IMO just an extended training session to help improve your play ready for the online!!

Some of the missions are as tough as boots and only after playing through them 4 or 5 times and improving my tactical awareness along with my general control, have I managed to complete them with a decent grade. It IS worth playing them!

Cheers mate, i might look into them tonight if i have chance. Like you said if might make me better online.
