Does anyone else find when they play the Mission 'Crack Squad' in Co-Op mode that they lose half their units all of a sudden, shortly after freeing the tanks?

i know this is when the enemy Gunships attack, but it seems too quick. am I missing something?

There's gunships overhead, recons come in from the north and bazookas to the east .. .. .. ..

I got this game in the weekend - I thought I was getting the hang of it until I went online - 5 defeats!

It's a great game though
