Think I'm still going to pre-order so that hopefully beat the rush on sales when it is released. With the sales shortage of consoels at the moment, likely that fit will have the same issue when released?
That is usually a good trick played on customers. People preorder thinking it is going to be cheap price then when the merchandise comes out the shop notifies them of the change in price. Then those who have pre-ordered think: well sod it, it is going to be the same price elswhere too so i might as well buy it from here since i have preordered it.
I think I wil be keeping my pennies in my wallet for now very cheap, but somethings not quite right ??

Just an update on this.
The picture on Shopto's site has now changed to the WiiFit Box!
This must mean they've updated the page so they would've seen the price and, had it been wrong, changed it! But it's still £29.99

isnt it trading standards though that if u advertise something at one price you have to honour it?
Displaying a product with a price is an invitation to trade, it is not a legally binding contract, I can take an item and display it with a price, however I can also decline an offer to buy that product. If it were contractual that would mean anyone displaying items with a price on the item or the shelf with that item would be forced to sell to whoever sees that product and price, which is simply not the case. If it were kids would have the legal right to buy cigerettes and alcohol as these are displayed in that way, meaning for shop keepers to uphold the law on age restrictions they'd be braking the law with regards to not selling the displayed product. You can't force people into a position of breaking 1 law to uphold another.
I think it's covered by both Trading Standards and the Sale of Goods Act, though I'm far too tired to check it now.
