Oh dear

....
.....oh no no no no no

.
There were 2 minor issues with the GC game which I thought they would address with this outing:
- The controls: The GC controls were a bit clunky and awkward at times. As I said above, my hope was that the Wii version (with it's unique mapping of wiimote and nunchuk) would have the problem sorted and controls would no longer be an issue (in fact I was looking forward to using them).....
- Having to unlock everything in single player to be able to use in multiplayer: Frustrating because the GC controls weren't perfect and a lot of the levels required to unlock certain monsters were rock hard........
Unfortunately, it looks like rather than improve on the 2 major issues, Unleashed has actually made both of them WORSE

.
It's getting very poor reviews because, despite the "on paper" specs, the control system has been made even clumsier and hit and miss (apparently, half the time it's pot luck whether what you're trying to do actually happens or not).
Worse still, they've yet again, locked over half of the maps and monsters into a mind numbuingly frustrating single player story. To make matters worse,
they've actually now made it harder to unlock things
.
I mean, it's pathetic really. Now, you don't just defeat Monster A to unlock him......you have to defeat him under certain conditions made even more stringent than before.
Which means that you'll effectively end up with a great sounding game with only 3-4 monsters and maybe 2 maps unlocked......and the other 20 or so forever locked away behind an impossible single player storyline.
I mean...WTF?

........I don't want to buy a multiplayer game only to have most of the promised goodies locked away in a single player story.......I HATE it when devs do this.
Surely they showed the game to
someone before they completed it, who could tell them it was cack.......or are they all only surrounded by "brown-nosers" and obsequious lackey's who only ever praise them and tell them what they want to hear?
.....idiots (what a waste)

......looks like this'll be one to miss then.
