@craig: It was Ultra Magnus. The white truck that was very similar to Optimus Prime

I remember the film so well, I had it on video. Best film ever when I was small. I just remember going round my house and making the noises they make when they transform.

kerkukoke.....thats not it at all...:S

More info:

Quote:
Activision has announced that Traveller's Tales is developing its upcoming Transformers game for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, PS2 and PC.

The game is also due out on PSP and DS, with those versions handled by Savage and Vicarious Visions respectively.

All are due out in the summer to coincide with the Paramount film that's set to premiere at the same time.

Details on actual game content are still scant, but we do know that you'll be able to play as either Autobots or Decepticons. Here's the rest of the publisher's description:

"Players must master each character’s unique weapons, moves and instantaneous transformations that allow them to effortlessly switch between vehicle and robot mode, as they rampage fully destructible environments smashing everything they encounter and using all objects as weapons along with firepower to obliterate enemies."

Traveller's Tales' most recent successes are the LEGO Star Wars games, both of which have won critical and commercial success by taking a witty and irreverent approach to the source material. We expect the Transformers game will be a bit more straight-faced.

Well actually the Optimus watching me type is a new one from the 'Masterpiece' collection:

And yes, he's bloody massive!

I've got loads of original transformers, including a couple of Optimus Primes but they're all a bit knackered. I did play with them all a long time ago...
