Default New Zelda game on the way

We still may be playing through The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess but the 165th issue of Game Informer reports that a new Zelda title has been in development for a year. If true, this could mean we see Link return to the Wii sooner than we thought.

Excuse me but, FCUK YEAH!!

I hope so!

N64 summed up for me was playing Zelda: Ocorina of Time at X-mas 98', Golden Eye, Perfect Dark and Super Mario Kart 64...Majoras Mask had good ingame concepts and new additions but I still prefered Ocorina of time's story line

I heard somewhere that Golden Eye might make its return on N64??!!

I read on gamecentral last year that the new Zelda game will "Use a new game template".

Any ideas?

I'm thinking that maybe the game will use different viewing perspectives ie 3rd person in the game world and 1st person in Villages and Dungeons. From what I've seen the Wiimote is best utilised in a 1st person view, and would give the developers more scope with regards to puzzles and such, especially in the Dungeons.

Tbh I think they got the controls spot on with Twilight Princess. They did the basics so the Wii remote enhanced the play but didn't try to over complicate the game and Zelda is such a great game that a complicated control system isn't needed and could ruin it

But I could be wrong... That's the beauty of the Wii, Until new things are tried we really don't know the best way to use it, but as soon as we do...

Maybe they are gonna add more 1 to 1 movement of Links sword...

Though that could be weird sometimes... like if you tend to scratch your nose with your wiimote and woup!! you'r links head is cut off, ahahaha

I actually liked the look of that! It came across like Baz Luhrman's Romeo + Juliette (which I enjoy) and AKIRA (which I also enjoy).

I liked the concept of the master sword being a gun (like R+J) and Epona being a motorbike (AKIRA).

Could be set in a city (Hyrule City) and Kakario, Kokiri etc could be different boroughs.

I do think they need to do something new like MM after OoT. Perhaps change the setting or something.
