Wii Sports. - WiiTalk

This seems to be another innovative idea by the Nintendo team by making a set of controllers that can mimic the sports of Tennis and Baseball and other set 3. This allows peaceful gaming the comfort of your living room with unique designs and gameplay. This will allow people to get fit while playing the Wii.
This could possibly be a big break through for the Nintendo group as it never really focused on the sporting market as much as the other consoles.
Surely this can only help profit margins and improve the wide range of games available to us Wii-enthuatists?

I'm a sport lover, and I think it will be great. To mimic sports.. Very unique, and will feel abit weird doing a tennis stroke infront of your TV. Not quite sure how it will be able to sense the shot etc.. This is a big break for the WII, and yet another reason to purchase it.

No way.
The WII will not match consles such as playstation. I'm a big playstation fan and I don't think the WII will match up to playstation sport games. However it's a nice idea to try and mimic it, but for me it won't work.

The style of the controller allows for a new generation in sports games, whether it is successful or not is yet to be seen. I can't however picture people having a madden tourney and "throwing" the ball.

I reckon the Wii can be even better than playstation!! Come on i mean how can it not? your actually playin the game not just controlling the computer playing it! Although Wii sports look a little kidish they still look like great fun for playing with your mates... i can see me and my brother playing on boxing for hours against each other! Red steel and COD3 look amazing also aiming with the gun will make it so much more realistic...it probably gives the impresion its easier but there will be a knack to gettin it right im sure.... anyway yeah Wii will kill ps3s ass!!!

Just got mine today!!!!

i havnt stopped playing on it since 4pm and its nw half past midnight!! i love Wii sports...much better with some1 else (spesh if ur winning:P) Red steel is great aswel... its kinda easish when you get the hang of it and you can kinda go through shooting the C**P out of everything but if you want the respect points and gd accuracy you can take your time and not die all the time. The only time i die is if i havnt got into the swing of things against the sword guys but once u have the hang of it its pretty hard to die cos u just hide behind somehtin till your health comes back... i dont knw if this is gd overall but it makes it fun to paly not having to replay it all cos you die!!

overall best console ive ever played on!

I have not tried Red Steel yet but the reviews don't seem to favorable.
Is the sword swinging pre-determined or does it actually replicate your arm movements?

I voted yes. Why have I voted for yes you ask? Well after seeing a video online of how Madden works I think it looks amazing and if im honest I think it will even better the lights of the playstation and xbox. I think this because at least with the WII mote you get to enjoy and have to move around and get into the game itself. I also think Wii Sports is very good at getting you into the game. I personaly find this alot more fun than sitting thier with a joypad in my hand.

Not so much at first but when you get a better sword and some special moves going you have to do it exactly at the right angles for it to work. Its gr8 fun when you get the hand of sword fighting and if you just get special after special it looks so gd :P special when i jsut did one first time n killed the guy lol!!! wasnt expecting it! im 71% complete with 2 levels 2 go.
