EA announced today that they are developing Medal of Honor Vanguard for Wii and PS2.
The game is due for release in March 2007 and will build on the franchise's sterling reputation for historical accuracy and authenticity, as well as introducing a new "heroic" storyline.

In the game, you'll take the role of Frank Keegan, Corporal of the 82nd Airborne Division, and engage in battles throughout Europe. From Operation Husky on the shores of Sicily to Operation Varsity inside Nazi Germany, you'll fight behind enemy lines in the epic WWII battles that turned America's first paratroopers into heroes of WWII.
EA promises the title will take full advantage of Wii's "one-of-a-kind controllers," and that it'll feature spectacular graphics, which will only intensify combat, making you the driving force in the struggle to liberate Europe.
"Medal of Honor Vanguard features a strong storyline told in classic MOH fashion," explained Matt Sentell, Senior Producer at EALA. "We are really excited to offer this game both on the PS2 and Wii, which will allow fans to experience MOH in a completely new way."
Interestingly, Medal of Honour Airborne is also set to be released on Wii in the future, alongside a version on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
