Wii Fitness Games

Whilst on the train home, reading the free newspapers there was an article in thier about Nintendo bringing out a number of games specifically to get us Britons fit.

I know that Wii Sports is already out but apparently these games will be designed to help with cardio system and stretching those muscles.

Im quite looking forward to it, I think they will be a big hit, especially with the parents worring about their overweight children. I think its another very clever marketing idea from Nintendo.

I agree completly. I think the way you have to move your arms in general for some games is still a little excersize.

I was absolutely knackered after I tried Wii Sports: Boxing

Well I meant games like Zelda and Rayman. My arm was killing the day after playing Wii sports for the first time

I remember once when I was in Florida and thought I would play on this boxing arcade game - once I had finished I felt sick and I would like to think I am pretty fit.

Maybe this is what the next generation of gaming will be like - as suggested in other threads though it will only take a handful of people to start suing...."i was exhausted that I couldnt go to work"....."i dislocated my back" and we will be back to the normal interaction of controller and screen.

This is what is so revolutionary about the Wii - it allows the player to take the lead role in the game - opening up opportunities such as these. I think this will be the next step on from the Dance mat.

Well i hope your right because i loved the dance mat, and if this is merely some sort of improvement that also enables us to get fit, i support it to the fullest extent!!
