A Success Story.

About 2 weeks ago me and my brother headed down to the shops and "happened" to come back with Wii Fit. Now i had been looking at this for a while and my family decided it would do us some good. Now after i got home i got as far as opening the box as i had to hurry off to football for 5 1/2 hours. During these 5 hours i couldn't wait any longer and made up a excuse i had to go home at 4 (which work ).

When i got home i continued to get out the board etc. I must admit i did take a while to realize that you have to start up Wii fit before you can Sync the board.

After it was all set up I took the body test. Ahhhh

My heart dropped i had just realized that i had just bought a piece of plastic to tell me im Obese. This made me a bit shocked but never the less i carried on and was hoping that this was a good thing as if i had never of bought this board i would still be eating myself to death but by buying it Wii Fit has given me the inspiration to excerise everyday and it has even helped me change my eating habits - i no longer snack or have HUGE dinners or have a pudding every meal.

So there you have it the first Official success story and it has turned my whole life around. I found out i had lost 3 stone on Sunday and since then i have been behaving a lot better and i feel a lot better on the inside.


But i would like to say :
This is NOT just the cause of Wii Fit. Wii Fit has just helped towards losing wait and managing myself.

Really chuffed for you mate! It's great to hear that games these days can do a lot more for you other than give you a little sense of enjoyment. And you're dead right about the last comment you made:

Wiifit is not a magic wand, as long as you stay healthy outside of Wiifit then you'll do just fine but don't expect to get fitter by just using Wiifit for half an hour a day.

I'm not likely to be getting WiiFit until after Christmas by the looks of it now, but I am looking forward to it. Its not something that I really want to spend my money on with other things happening so I dont mind the wait.

Glad to hear it has made you feel better about yourself though Chill, good on you! Do you reckon it will last? Or maybe just a fad?

what you posted is that you lost 3 pounds, not 3 stone

if you lost 3 stone you would be 4 stone, which would be a problem of different proportions
