I never expected Epic to work on the Wii simply because theyre games are always largely based on beautiful graphics.
He does make a point on the Wii sales though, I give up on my Wii after playing it for like 3 weeks it gets old fast, even mario kart is getting kinda lame lately whereas as unreal tournament 3 (which epic made ) I keep coming back to

Wow, I missed a heated thread here.
I've said time and again, Wii has missed the boat with some games. I wouldn't call it a virus, but if he hates the system, so be it. Frankly, innovation comes in many forms, but when I went looking for a game system, graphics were not the #1 priority for me. You don't need to be a computer shrunken to be a good game system. Bells and wistles come in different sizes, and I don't take anything away from PS3 or XBox 360 (I'd like to buy a 3), but its not just a one track approach.
Epic's VP, Mark Rein has had this shallow opinion of the Wii from day one. I've always thought of him as an arrogant git. Apart from Unreal Tournament and Gears of War, I can't think of any games they made that've impressed me.
Of course he's entitled to his opinion, but why rub in his detestation so hard? OK, the Wii isn't capable of HD graphics, but that doesn't mean it's unable to offer some 5-star quality games.
TBH I found it quite funny that a lot of you on this thread didn't even know who Epic were. Shows how well known they are lol.
