Just got this today, first time i've turned on the wii in ages (due to lack of time) seems to be ok. The champions rd thing seems to be a little long winded though, with the whole "pick a card to get a player." Control system seems ok though, a lil stupid for defence. Overall they seemed to simplfy the interface a little too much from the PS3 versions.

And to top it all off, you guys have given me a 50 page thread to catch up on!

Mate are you playing that on one 1 star, cause I play on reg (3 *'s ) and you never get anywhere near that much space or time on the ball, without making it yourself, I.E not just knocking it into the box..

Dont be sooooo rude! I have been playing this since iss.

It has been set on 3* since i got the game out of the box. I suggest you need a bit of extra time on the training ground

You knocked the ball into the box, didnt try any fancy play, the whole backline was static on the edge of the six yard box and made no attempt to close you down, on my game on 3*'s they'd be all over me rash...

THeres no way thats played on the normal diff settigns *Cough* 1*Blagger*Cough

Which goal are you talking about in particular? was it a header / shot / volley?

I normally would if it was the ps2 version but i am getting used to the controls. i was gonna crank it up the other night cos i was finding it too easy then mentally i think i took my foot off the gas and then lost the last 2 games of a 6 team league and lost the league

Just picked up my first couple of 4* players as well

Done all of the leagues except the Mediterranean one which I've left til last because I know some of the bets players will be there and I want them!

Had I worked out earlier how you get better players, I wouldn't have done the premiership one so early

Scored a nice goal for our Replay thread as well, I'll try and upload it tomorrow

And Oz... Stop moaning and get your code up!

Hey Foo didnt you even watch my video! I am playing in the claret and blue of our beloved club...... i would even say there is a couple of Dicanio`esque goals in there too

There was no build up play in the video i posted because i just wanted to show the goals so the video wasnt too long but luckily i had this other video still on my phone which has the majority of goals but with 3 replays for each goal scored then i realised it was too long so scrapped it. But i guess its resurfaced.

Check where the ball gets passed/crossed in from and how you think i got there and where the opposition players are ( my guess is they have already been pulled out of position) and then think why my player who receives the ball is in space or more space than you get ( your the one saying it not me ) Its pretty simple really.

The only reason i am posting the vid is to back myself up because you clearly dont believe me but really but cheers anyway because.....

....the diving header looks awesome from the 3 different angles. I took the CB on with my SMF but also pulled across my CF (you can plainly see the yellow arrow before i release the through ball which i then crossed in first time which left the whole defence way out of position and my CF nipped in from the right just beating the defender and keeper to the ball which was delivered to the space i created hence the goal.

The other goals are all pretty much the same i suppose you could call them team goals apart from the corker at 2.09 which i somehow left off that other vid and which happens to be my favourite goal at the moment.

Its definitely 3* (which isnt anything great to shout about anyway)
