PS3 Anyone?

Now that you have baught a Wii would you even consider a PS3?

Wouldn't waste my money

Costs ALOT and for what? +graphics and -gameplay no thanks.

I will consider it in a years time when prices have dropped.. But still probably not.

Well off the top of my head the PS3 is what 600$ for the basic model? Well it costs around 800$ to make. (correct me if i am wrong)

For sony to drop the price of the console they need to streamline the making of it. With the poor sales of console thus poor sales of games which is what makes sony the money. Sony does not have the funds direct from their profits like others like other console makers do.

So the streamlining they need requires investment from sony not from profits. Do you put more money into a sinking ship and risk sales not getting better and loose everything?

i had a bad time with my expensive at the time PS1 breaking down and the PS2 doesn't last for ever either and this new, what do you call it again...PS3. it sounds awfully fragile too, what with sony buying the cheapest bluray parts available. 'll stick with my wii until something else comes along that i can actually fit under my telly.

I will get one in about 3 years when the proce is more suitable, all issues have been ironed out and the game catalogue is better

For me the PS3 is the same as every other console that has been on the market... It does have better graphics and sound and whatever... but the games are the same... Yes you'll the game, be impressed then either complete it cause you have played that style 100 times before or it will be too hard too easy. Either way you'll get bored...

At least the Wii has done somthing differant and intresting setting it away from the pack... Now the same style of games are differant and you have to learn all over again. That is what makes wii fun... what will make wii win!

Well it does not really... It does not cover all the axis that the wii mote does or have rumble, sound and let us not forget the add on nunchuck...
