Answer
Enter wii settings by clicking the "Wii" icon at the bottom of the menu screen . Choose
- Internet
- Wireless Connection
- Search for access point
Then choose your access point and enter the passcode if prompted . This code should be found either written on your router or in the router settings .

A: For your Wii's friend code (used so you can send games and messages to other Wiis) go to the message board, address book and your number will be there. To add someone, click on an empty slot in your address book (page 2 onwards) and follow the on screen instructions.
For game codes, check the instruction book as each is in a slightly different place

The motion detection aspect of my Wii remote isn't working , is there anything I can do ?
Answer
Turn the wii remote on its side so the A button is facing left . Then strike downwards on the remote a couple of times .
(I dont know how reliable this is but its what Ninty told user micklatham to do and it worked for him )
As soon as this FAQ has grown enough it'll be a good idea if a load of us stick a link to it in our sigs . That way we can encourage new users to look through it upon welcoming them .
