I know the Wii is still in short stock but why are the controllers so difficult to get hold of?
I went out to get Wii play a few weeks ago (thought I might as well get the game for the extra £5) but couldn't get it anywhere.
In the end I found one shop selling the Wiimote on its own so settled for that.
Now I want the Nunchuck to accompany it and no shops have that in stock although they now have plenty of Wiimotes!!!
(Admittedly Virgin Megastore had one but they wanted £20 for it and no way am I paying that when you see them online for £15)
Nintendo really need to get their act together. Surely it is easier to mass produce the controllers compared to the consoles.
I think it is just your luck. When I decided to get a Wii I found one in stock within 24 hours and ordered it online from Gamestation and got it a few days later.
With regards to controllers I happened to be in a branh of HMV and they had a couple on the shelf for £14.99 so I got them!
I must admin Wii Play did seem to be out of stock everywhere, I did manage to find one on the net by which time all the shops near me suddenly had it in stock...

Was that the Northampton branch of HMV? (I am from Northampton so I may go and have another look. They didn't have any on Friday)
To be perfectly honest though, all stores seem to get everything in dribs and drabs so the best way to buy any accessory is online.
Most web sites seem to be able to deliver within a couple of days. Places like amazon.co.uk and play.com wont even charge you for delivery (with amazon your order has to be more than £15 for free delivery).

I saw the nunchuck remotes in woolworths for £14.99 today, as it goes i should of got one of those to play doubles....., the Wii points were £13.99, just 50p more than on line.. the games are top whack prices.
