wii lan adapter

When i first joined ntl for my cable broadband, i recieved 2 cables to hook up the modem to my pc. One an ethernet to ethernet cable and one an ethernet to usb. Over the course of time i have lost the usb/ether as i didnt use it. Im wondering if a lead like this (which could be picked up for peanuts im sure) would work instead of shelling out £18 for an adaptor. Anyone have any ideas or maybe tried this?

Im being tight i know but im skint, especially after shelling out £300+ on the Wii + Accessories and £700 on a new hd tv! So any pennies saved would be good

hi, from what ive heard. you will have to buy the datel one or sumthing simial that is compatible with nintendo. i asked some1 about it all as i didnt know myself. they said to buy a lan adapter and tht should be ok

well i have now got a router and the lan adapter and im connected to net.it may seem pricey to you but its worth it if you want wii online.
