Default I Wish: USB usage
Does anyone agree that the idea of inputting media to your wii from your USB would be a killer idea? Like the XBOX 360 technology of playing music in games from your USB pen drive.. I think this would be an excellent update! ..?

It wouldn't make any difference too the way i use my wii thats for sure....pointless really!

i have an xbox 360 and i'm always puttin random tunes over my games - think wii would benefit too

Well we know you can listen to music on your Wii in the photo channel but can only view the first 100 mp3's. Excite Truck you can listen to your mp3's during the game from your SD Card. Nintendo will realize this demand and probably release an update so your Console can detect usb HDD's and they might even make a "music channel" which would be great. Lets hope

The USB is there for expansion and as its a newly released console I can't see much happening with it until perhaps around Christmas time.

With most people having an MP3 player nowadays, I dont see why we shouldnt be able to plug it in to the USB ports on the back and let games like Excite Truck play the MP3s directly from the MP3 player without having to copy them to the SD card like we do now.

As online gaming starts to take form I'd imagine even a Wii Keyboard becoming available, you never know...

id only use the mp3 capabilites of a usb memory stick so my mp3 player wouldnt run out of batteries
