Wii remote idea

Wonder if its possible for nintendo to make a wiimote that charges from the movement? would be well good

I think you can get them watches that charge with movement.

Nice idea. Don't see why they wouldn't be able to do it. Charging the betteries may be a bit of a strech, doubt a kinetic generator would be able to produce enough electricity to do this (unless you made the remote a fair bit bigger). But a piggy back system where it just charges a capacitor the the wii drains before it turns to battery power would probably give the batteries a bit of extra life.

I am guessing that something like that wouldn't be able to provide the voltage for this as watches use a tiny amount.

It is a good idea though.

I nearly bought a second wiimote but I am waiting until they release a battery pack or better still a wiimote that you can sit in a cradle to let it recharge. It could run from one of the USB ports on the Wii.

I have never heard of anything like this before. But yeah I think it would be a really cool feature.
