I didn't do my homework before buying the Wii, was hoping that it would let me watch movies as well. Can't have it all right?

There is a homebrew application you can install on an unmodded console which will allow you to play DVDs:

MPlayer - WiiBrew

If you arn't confident installing stuff on your Wii then don't. You might end up bricking it. Spend £20 on a cheap DVD player instead.

Hey, any good resources/guides for installing stuff on my Wii?
