Wii Parental Controls

I believe this is probably the first console to have parental controls?

Of every parent I know I cannot see them using this feature - I think it is a great idea.

The only information I can view for this is US based, does the UK wii have parental controls as well?

The Xbox 360 has parent controlls as well. i myself see it as a pointless feature but I understand why it is thier. means kids can't play 18 games without the code.
