The problem with the Maracas add-on is it assumes you're playing with Wiimote and Nunchuk, when it sounds like two-wiimotes is a superior experience from the previews.
I did have a pre-order in, but decided to import Wii Shanghai instead; I might still pick it up in a couple of months depending on the reviews since I have no other rhythm games and the characters are crazy.
On the snooker front, I've not seen any previews of the WSC game coming out next month which might not be a good sign. They're putting out three wacky versions though: game only, game and cue sleeve and finally, a deluxe edition that comes in a little briefcase with the cue inside (I'm guessing in two bits you screw together?).
I was pretty keen, but Gameloft has Midnight Pool coming to WiiWare, which has been well reviewed and I expect will be out this week. For only £7 it's apparently the best version of billiards out (better than Pool Party control/physics-wise according to reviews, with Wii Play-style motion controls -- excellent!). Of course it's 8-ball with UK or US rules and 9-ball, so no true snooker, but I'm good.
