Default Game saves and frequency changes

My mates thought they had deleted my Mario and Sonic Olympics save when they were ****ed, but I was flicking around with the frequency earlier, and when I loaded up M&S the save was back!

Mario Kart however has my saves available on both frequencies

Was this just a glitch on the earlier games, or was there some bizarre reason why it is only M&S? Are other games affected to?

It could be quite annoying if I am having to keep flicking frequencies to access my saves on Zelda and No More Heroes, as I haven't played Zelda since they changed frequencies about 3 months ago, whereas I only played No More Heroes after the change!

Hey rossi,

What do you mean by 'Frequency'?

Sorry, didn't explain it well

It is the TV settings, you can have it on either 50 or 60 hertz. Dunno why this has an effect on save games

Oh right!

That is very strange...

I wouldn't have thought that your TV settings could change the save files as the Wii wouldn't even know if you were on 50 or 60, it's just a TV thing.

But I could be wrong... It's certainly the first I've heard about that though!

There was a thread discussing this a while back

Mario & Sonic Olympics - Saved file gone

Seems like your save file is dependant on your TV settings.

Mario Kart Wii Code: 1075-0858-0813 (full) MK League Code: 4167 4646 0563

Thanks for that

Glad to see it ain't just me!

Seems like noone really knows why it is the case just for this game, but at least now I know I won't lose my saves again!!!
