Default nunchuk orientation

connected the nunchuk to use Boxing and the orientation reversed , punching with nunchuck (left) operated the right hand and holding both remotes in "guard" stance moved gloves apart . Holding remotes apart moved gloves together. Anyone else experienced this and if so how did you cure it or do i need to return the nunchuk , damn thing only a week old !!!!!

Default left handed ? right handed ?

double check to se whether you have swapped the orientation of the wiimote and nunchuck in the settings when you select your mii. make sure you have selected R for right handed ( that's if you are right handed). if L is highlighted then the wii thinks you are holding the controls in the other hands and so is interpreting your moves in the wrong manor.

sounds like you have set it up for left handed but are still holding them in the right handed style.

right-handed = nunchuck - left & wiimote - right

left handed = nunchuk - right & wiimote - left

i may be wrong.
but just double check first.

let us know how you get on

Superb , thanks very much , the Boxing was indeed set to left handed. I had in my head that it meant i would be leading with left hand rather than requiring the wiimote in my left hand.
Thanks again.
