Default GAME Wii battery pack and charging cradle!

Hi
Just picked myself up one of these:
http://www.game.co.uk/ViewProduct.aspx?cat=&mid=329935

Its fantastic and the cradle connects to the USB port on the back of the Wii and even charges if the Wii is in standby (Wiiconnect24 on)!!!

It complements the Wii nicely and the charging light on the cradle glows the same blue as the disc slot on the Wii.

They are "deal of the weak" at the moment and are only £14.99!

MY GAMES: Wii Sports, Zelda: TP, Blazing Angels, The Godfather, Super Mario Galaxy, Resident Evil 4, Endless Ocean, Rock Star Presents: Table Tennis, Lego Star Wars, Resident Evil: UC, Wii Chess, Trauma Centre: SO, Metroid Prime 3 Corruption, Excite Truck, Medal Of Honour Heroes 2, NiGHTS, Geometry Wars Galaxies, Sonic & The Secret Rings and Link's Crossbow Training.

VIRTUAL CONSOLE GAMES: Mario 64, Super Mario World, Lylat Wars, 1080, Mario Bros 3, WaveRace 64, F-ZeroX and Zelda OOT.

Says £19.99 to me.

I'd have to consider buying one of those I must admit. I can see the batteries being used up very quickly.

I've been waiting for something like this to finally be released, I shall take a look in my local Game store on Monday. Thanks for letting us know about the deal of the week.

Default How about a Powerstation

Have a look on Play or Amazon at the Joytech Powerstation. It does all the same as this, but for 2 controllers, has little bits to keep your nunchuks tidy, and comes in at £18 as I remember (I've pre-ordered one, as it's out later this month).

I noticed that it only worked with one controller so I didn't bother going to Game this lunch time after all...

I am considering it but are these cradles really worth it or is it better just to get about 6 recharable batteries and always have one set on charge ?

Can you use rechargeables then? I thought it said in the instruction book that you can't?
