Cheapest Web Route

Hello Fellow Wiipeople,

I have a cablemodem connection to the internet - in the past I have connected a linksys router to the PC - and wi fi othered pc's - this worked ok - but it didn't get used much so I sold it.

What I wondering is
if I purchase same router again - how easy would it be to wi fi the wii ? - seem to remember I had to configure the pcs' - and would I have to leave encryption off - or does the wii do wep ?

What wi fi adapter do I need for the wii ?


or should I just but on of them things from play.com (Lan Adapter) and suffer the wires (trouble is the cable modem is a good way from the tv)

Yep, just plug your modem and your pc into the linksys wifi router and you should be up and running in minutes.

The Wii has WiFi built-in so no adaptor needed.

It supports WEP, WPA (TKIP/RC4) and WPA2 (CCMP/AES) so no problems there.
