Default Being a Liverpool FC fan....
Being a huge Liverpool fan, just wondered what anybody else thought on the supposed takeover?

Although I was originally against it, I now know it is needed if we want to compete at the highest level.

I just hope that they keep the club traditions, which I am sure they will.

I dont think a new stadium though could replicate the atmosphere and drama that there is at Anfield.

Hopfully they will go down hill after that. hehe. never been a big liverpool fan myself.

All I can say though is what a great comeback a few yeas ago in Champions League. As for the League. You have gone down hill tbf.

I personally dont think we have gone down hill since then. We have once again secured more points than previous seasons, closed the gap. We also won the FA Cup last season in another fantastic final :-)

Of course I am going to be bias.... :-)

yeh im with you on this one. i just hope they keep the club traditions and so on. and i was shocked when i heard the news... it makes you think now. what club is next for a takeover by the americans

It's always a bit worrying when americans get involved in football, since they know nothing about it.

Having said that Randy Learner seems to have a genuine interest in my team (villa), and so far so good....

Did anyone hear about Rise and Bellamy having a bust up and smashing each other with golf clubs? I bet you it was Bellamys fault... I think he will be off at the end of the season...!

Im worried (as a pool fan) about Rafa spending too much money on Spaniards tbh. Its such a different league to Spain and i just hope he doesn't have problems with people settling in. Morientes is a prime example of this.

Funny really, i was worried when we had no money and im just as worried now :/

I head what you are saying dudl3y, but Rafa, has also bought Bellamy, Crouch, Fowler, Agger and is also pushing some of the youth team through as well.

Like you I am a little worried, although I dont know why, FA Cup, Champions League, Charity Shield, Super Cup, you cant fault him really! :-)
