World club champion!
My son Richard competed at the 9th world club shotokan championships which were held in England for the first time! There were teams from 15 different countries including the USA Ukraine Russia and South Africa, Some may say its most prestigious Club Karate competition in the world. It was an amazing day out and my boy as he is so small was kinda the honoury England mascot He was absoloutely amazing and walked away with a big fat juicy heavy gold medal which nearly broke his neck when he put it on
Really proud of him and just thought i would share it with you lot!!
Getting his Gold!
His club had 18 competing and walked away with 17 medals which was the best performance by a single club at the competition!

Cheers, i think he has done amazingly well considering he is only 5 and the kata he done isnt really meant to be performed by someone of his age There were a hell of a lot of people at the tournament watching so for him to get out there and do it as well as he did was an achievement in itself. He deserved the gold just for the amount of focus and energy he puts into his karate.
