Whos seen A Clockwork Orange?
Just watched it this week and I must say it's freaky.
Made in the 1970's it's a look into future Britain, sadly it's all but come true...
Gang's terrorise people for sheer entertainment but stop short of breaking into houses for such pleasures.
We don't find violence as shocking as we used too, the movie is supposed to be tramatising and unpleasent so why doesn't it feel so?
We have speeding / gang warfare / drugs / rape
This horrific view this movie represented came true, freaky isn't it?

Think of something from your childhood, a vivid memory. Between that time and now, every cell in your body has changed. So, were you really there?

That avatar is cool, i like it being a little bit different.
Clockwork Orange is a really messed up film, hence why it was banned first time around, but you can buy it in Virgin now. I think there has also been a theatre production on it.
I would have to put it in the top 5 weirdest films ever.

I have seen this but a good few years ago so I can not remember it at all. I should have to get a hold of it off my dad again and see what I think of it now.

2001, Kubrick banned it when he was sent death threats.
He said it wasn't to be released till he died, 6 months after that it was rereleased in the UK.

True, Kubrick did impose the ban on the film, but it was well before 2001.
..Or is this a reference to said film (2001)!!!

Yeah, 2001 was when the ban was lifted, and I got to see it at the cinema.
