Default how much you spent on batteries?
one things for sure wiimotes just love sucking the life out of those AAs.
was going to wait for the charger to come out but ill be bankrupt by then! so i bought an energiser battery charger from argos 13quid plus 8 batteries not to bad. they last about 20 hours.

I got a 4 pack of energizers from tesco and allready had an old charger which works just fine. The last plenty long enough for me. Rechargables are tyhe best bet long term.

Wii battery life is phenominal, 4.50 per fortnight on energisers.

im sure in the manual of the wii is said do not use rechargable batteries?
or i could be wrong! lol
but the original batteries that came with the wiimote didnt last me at all, apperantly the life of a wiimore AA batteries only last for 2DAYS straight...
i have brought me a pack of 40 AA batteries from tandy/Dicksmith
( http://www.dse.com.au/cgi-bin/dse.st...uct/View/S4040 ) and cost me $18AUD (on special of course) and they are awesome its lasting me roughly around 3 weeks of use while the original lasted a week of constant use. there u have it lol

2 day's is actually amazing the 360 controller will only last you 24 hours.

Hmmm yeah a few things say dont use rechargables but tbh if it broke u could lie n say you use non rechargables they wouldn't knw. hehe

the thing about rechargable batteries is they sometimes leak and could damage the wiimotes

Ive never had them leak ever. And a reputable firm like engerzier there shouldn't be much to worry about.
