Has anyone on here broken their Remotes Strap yet?

I certainly haven't, and to be honest unless you're really trying to i can't see how you can.

I mean it's not like you have to swing at 100mph on baseball to get a home run or play a shot on tennis.

I can understand it slipping from someones sweaty hand during a long session of Wii Sports but not at the kind of speed required to break it surely?

I (and my friends & family) have not even come close to breaking it, the remote has never slipped at all.

Infact I have even removed the strap now as it just gets in the way imo.

I have never broke the strap. I also don't think I will to be honest. only thing I have realised it gets slack too quickly when on your arm.

well i havent broken me wiimotes straps yet! (thank god)
my mates r really ruff on the wiimotes so i kept on complaining to my GF that we needed to get some silicone casing for the wiimotes or else the strap will break and damage our 80cm lcd tv..... and guess what i got for x'mas my silicone casing for my wiimotes yay

nope, heard about a fair few people claiming that they have broken their straps though. If thats the case you can get replacement straps from nintendo for free - from the official website

no broken straps yet but i have taken a big chunk out of my etched glass lamp shade in the sitting room during a wiibowling marathon

I haven't managed to break my strap yet...

However, whilst playing Excite Truck I got a bit stroppy when i spent nearly an hour trying to complete a track in 'S' grade and struggled to get the strap off my wrist before throwing my controller at the wall... and it bounced straight back at me and hit me in the eye!!!

yeh wiiman getting those 'S' grades are tough, did you get them all yet?

I've managed to get all the S grades on the first part, now I'm about halfway through Super Excite mode. One of my mates tells me that he got all S grades on this level and then you get to play all the tracks again, only they are in reverse!!!

Having a rest from it at the moment due to my Wii injury i got from playing this game...
