Cool, I grew up in Surrey, so Selhurst Park park was the nearest pro ground.
My gran used to take me to games there, although usually to watch her
beloved crazy gang. I live Brighton now (don't worry, not a fan) and get to
a coupla games a season at the Withdean.
Not much for them to play for now either. Like you say, not much fun when
a team neither good enough to go up, or bad enough for a relegation scrap.

They are only just starting to play the way they can play recording 6 wins in there last 8 games which if you look at it is indeed championships league form but.... its all so reminiscent of the year the hammers last went down! Didnt start playing until the last 2 months of the season.... Been unlucky with Ashton being out for the whole season, he would have definitely banged in the goals to get you in the top half of the table. The momentum is full swing now and i think the hammers will be beat Bolton nextweek and ermmm regarding old trafford the week after maybe Rio will accidently trip Anton and we win a pen a nd win 1-0, yes i said we! because i am a westham supporter and we will be in the premiership next season!! Cmon you Irons!! It only seemed like yesterday when i took my boy to Cardiff for that thriller of a final boohoo......
Bolton are beatable with or without big Sam, actually him not being there could be worse for us because you know the old tradition of winning the first game for the new manager.....
Man utd are a different Kettle of fish altogether, spose we can take heart in the fact that we beat them earlier in the season plus they also have the premiership sewn up bar the shouting plus the fact they still have an FA cup final and a posssible Champs league final to contend along with all the injuries then maybe they will rest a few players for the game with us...heres hoping anyway
We have had a couple of hilites this season such as doing the double over Arsenal and being the only team so far to beat them at the Emirates this season and the victory over Man utd....not much to shout about but hey......

Yes, it is all a bit familiar to when we went down...
But I do share your optimism! We are in great form (Largely due to tevez ) and if we can get the 3 points against Bolton, That should be enough.
I wish I had a ticket to the Final Last year!! It's games like that which show just why English football is the best in the world. We can hold our heads high by that performance and I don't think there's a football fan in the world who wouldn't agree that we were hard done by.

Everyone was expecting so much more from us after last season but thats football i guess. I had a season ticket last year but had to divvy it in because my boy started karate and football on a sturday and i was well and truly gutted after we signed the 2 argies because i would miss out on seeing them play at Upton park but in hidsight i was lucky not to endure the crap they have given us.
The facup final was brilliant from start to finish even though we lost it was such a great game i just felt glad to have been there
) and if we can get the 3 points against Bolton, That should be enough.
What a contrast to this season eh?
