Jericho was cancelled along with a lot of other promising shows from US recently. Unless it gets big ratings it's cancelled, and the ratings aren't calculated properly. (I could go on about this cos it does my nut... but I'll keep it to myself!)
Jericho was cancelled after season one but then brought back after fans sent thousands of bags of peanuts to the studio. (Google it!) For the second season they only paid lipservice to it, giving it half a season, and putting it up against very high rated shows.
Unfortunately US TV is taking all the **** we make and remaking it over there (BB, X-factor etc). Anything that requires more than 2 braincells to watch doesn't get a look-in. It's "Lowest Common Denominator TV"! Moonlight was also canned. Lost Room was a brilliant premise, really should have been more than one series. Journeyman was also worth a second outing. I also enjoyed Carnivale when it was on, though not to everyone's taste.
Intelligence season 2 is on Hallmark. Truly great TV which you need to pay attention to, but I think you'd have to watch the first series to have a chance of understanding what's going on now.
I watch Sarah Connor, pretty easy fare.
I enjoy Pushing Daisies very clever script.
Reaper is easy fare but isn't Ray Wise's Devil the best depiction of the devil ever?!! By the way, that's very likely to be cancelled also (if it hasn't been already). They're not really promoting it to its best potential.
