The WiiTalk Chat Room - WiiTalk

After a fine suggestion from Wario and a few recent trials with the service, we will now have a chatroom that members can log into to chat to other members who are only.

The service we're using is Gabbly so we have no control over it or what names people use on it.

It's for this reason that we recommend that everyone signs up to Gabbly to make sure they have a unique username for the service. One that is done I can update this first post with a list of WiiTalk usernames alongside their Gabble usernames.

On a side note, even though we don't have control of the chatroom itself, any attempt at impersonation to cause harm will be dealt with on the forum, so please use this service as you use the forum, with respect.

Are there different rooms that we go into or if we follow that link will it only be Wiitalkers that can talk to each other. Obviously don't want to have loads of randoms coming along and chatting.

Gabbly works simply by creating a chatroom for a specified URL. So that link takes you to the WiiTalk URL. It should only be fellow WiiTalkers in there

It doesn't work properly with the latest version of Firefox (returns to the top of chat everytime someone types)

It will also log you out of Wiitalk constantly if your using the latest version of IE.
