In a surprise the world over, Nintendo recently launched the Everyone’s Nintendo Channel in Japan. This channel, announced several months ago, allows gamers to view trailers for Wii games AND download DS demos to your DS to sample before purchase. We can only hope that the channel launches worldwide soon.
We’re moving towards demos folks. Methinks this is the best channel in a while?
It works exactly the same way as with single cart multiplayer on the DS.
You would start the demo transmission from the Wii, then boot up your DS, and opt for Wifi download play on the start screen, and it will search for a signal to lock onto, then ask if you want to proceed, and downloadthe demo game from it.

Yay, can't wait. Glad I won't have to change my router over to WEP. If only they would add the ability to connect through the Wii.

Connecting through the Wii? Do you mean for online gaming? If so, then this page might help you to get your DS online.. .. .. (might help).. .. .. if you have a wireless capable machine that is wired to your router.
