This looks good, I'll try it on my brother's DS, I'm sure he'll be pleased that he can try games before he buys them, he only has 3 at the moment though, and is happy with that as he only plays them on the train to and from work.
Apart from the Metroid Prime 3 Preview channel (cos the game had further apart release dates across the world), haven't the other channels been release pretty close together in Japan/USA/Europe? I'm optimistic for a December release, it's like their Christmas present to us
I have a 360 controller with a cable on it, retro!
Connecting through the Wii? Do you mean for online gaming? If so, then this page might help you to get your DS online.. .. .. (might help).. .. .. if you have a wireless capable machine that is wired to your router.
Thanks for the link, but I don't have a Mac or Wireless connection through my computer. All I have is the router.
As for what I meant, I was thinking if the Wii knows when a DS is trying to connect, could that be used to block any unscrupulous types accessing my Internet connection. The Wii would basically become a router.
Perhaps there is a way to setup a router to only accept a DS, but all I know is MAC addresses, which are not fool-proof.
My router is WPA - so I guess I'll just turn off protection for the short time I'll use this and then turn it back on again. Since all my devices are wireless that might not be as simple as it sounds, as once you change connection security I get booted out of the router's admin logon and then have to reboot something or other to get it all back again.
Oogie has enjoyed Professor Layton over xmas.
Oogie's alteregos Lock, Shock and Barrel are into NDS homebrew, and are:
- very pleased with themselves for cracking the router problems
- enjoying the wifi connectivity with homebrew IRC
