Thats why im not getting, im just worried about spending 1000 points/£7.50, on a game that might only last a few days, coz after playing it for a bit, you might remember the answers. But i would defo recommend LostWinds

Yh so far, but Dr Mario is a close second coz of the online play, and Toki Tori im not really sure about just yet, haven't really played it enough, one thing is though i dunno if to get FF.

Hmmmm, I wish Dr. Mario was a launch title for us in the states. Sounds like a good game.

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this, but here's my first impressions of Wild West Guns from the news thread; it's WiiWare so I don't know if a full review is necessary. Reprinted for visibility:

Well, put in 20min. with Wild West Guns and I'd have to say if you like lightgun games this is a no-brainer.

Options are limited to Brightness and volume controls for SFX and Music.

The game does indeed support the Zapper so you have a control option for that, but you'll need to plug in the nunchuk to use the Zapper; otherwise the Wiimote on its own does the job.

A or B shoots and + pauses -- that's it for control.

This plays like a basic lightgun game of old: unlimited ammo and no reloading much like the Wii Play shooting game.

Characters look good; there's only a few models, but they're cell-animation style against a 3-D background so it's cool.

You have an old-west sheriff praising you or telling you that you suck which can be amusing.

You need to earn money shooting the various targets and things and get a silver rank to advance to the next level. Each level has three stages and there are six levels in all with the amount needed to progress to the next level getting progressively higher. Stage types are as follows:

Shoot targets -- but not the red ones! Gets complicated by the fact that they move around. Repeats at higher levels have more and more targets on screen at once with more movement.

Shoot Sombreros that sail past -- can be difficult when many go by rapidly as happens on higher levels -- especially when screaming lunatics with dynamite strapped to them come running at you!

Shoot tin cans -- upper level variant you had to keep one can in the air for 45 seconds whilst also fending off madmen running at you with the intent of bashing your brains in with a shovel(!).

Defend rabbits from vultures.

Train, Saloon and Graveyard defense -- shoot the baddies, but not the piano player (saloon) or the frails in red (present in all three -- reflexively I've shot many of the innocent ladies in red). Shooting anyone but the baddies costs you money as does getting shot by them. Tip: hit the bikini top wearing baddies as they shoot right away (bikini tops in the old west? Hmmmm...). Later variants allow you to only get hit a certain number of times before failing the mission.

By no means is this a long game, but I'm finding level 5 quite the challenge and I have yet to complete 6 -- the targets are bringing me down. Medals go from silver to platinum; I've only managed two golds thus far. Getting the big money will be challenging as the only way to do it is get chains without missing, not getting shot/bashed/blown up and not shooting the innocent lady(ies). After a level is finished it totals the money and shows a breakdown of your score on the three different events slot-machine style so you can see at a glance where you're underperforming.

Best bit for me is the fact that everything is destructible and there are bonuses for hitting other targets like bells, frogs, fish, rats, vultures, etc.

There are also achievements which is always nice and lastly, two-player simultaneous.

Good fun and worth your 1000 points.
