I picked up Action Loop as well as I enjoy Puzzloop 1&2 arcade ROMs in MAME and it's quite varied with many single and multi-player modes; multi-player modes can be played with/against (there's co-op options) AI-controlled players, so you can even play those by yourself. No online, but the sheer variety of game modes don't make it feel lacking and I've never regarded Puzzloop as a battling game anyway (although this one does have special battle modes).

1000 points well spent!

I don't see why we're limited like that (and we are, I've tried sending something to an Australian).. as long as it's available in that country/region what's the problem? Give em that regions version of it!

Agreed. On the plus side some things about the console are multi-region: Boom Blox levels are traded using the Wii Messenger; hasn't been tested by me yet, but I should think you could send Boom Blox levels to anyone in the world.

Dr. Mario Wii does a global match up -- only Europe/Japan at the moment, but I cannot imagine that North America will be far behind, so we'll soon be able to do match-ups globally!

Sounds like a date mix-up. The 11th was VC day; today is WiiWare day. Nothing on Nintendo's website, which is a bit surprising, so I guess they haven't released the new titles yet.

New titles are Spog Racing and Pirates: Key of Dreams. Both appear to be missable.

The latter looks like Shipwreckers/Overboard! for the PSOne, however single-player is only 10 levels, so not very deep; multiplayer is local only.

Just from videos the former is very poor at conveying any sense of speed; it's the lowest ranked game on WiiWare in North America presently...

Thanks for posting this. I was quite interested in TV Show King and was seriously considering downloading it. But I recently bought Smarty Pants in the Zavvi sale and it seems to play in the same way. I think I'll spend my points on top notch classic retro stuff instead, unless something breathtaking and original comes along.
