I know Lost Winds is getting the press, but it looks like a platform/adventure game which frankly doesn't have much appeal for me. WiiWare to me should be casual pick-up-and-play stuff. The puzzlers like Dr. Mario and maybe Pop are worth a look in my book. I'm very much hoping Mr. Driller will come over from the Dark Side and make an appearance and I'm always up for a game of puzzloop, so hopefully we'll see that as well.

Where's bomberman anyway? I cannot imagine that's far off for a release outside of Japan...

Oh, I bought Metal Slug yesterday which is 248 blocks and I'm totally in agreement that if WiiWare is going to take off we need an external storage solution we can play games from and it's definitely NOT the SD card. Just doing a backup of Metal Slug to SD took a full two minutes. I cannot imagine people being happy to wait two minutes for a game to load from the SD card to main memory (RAM not internal flash) before playing it, although that would be the easy solution -- of course if your game is smaller than that, great, but Metal Slug is about a 10MB game, and I think the limit for WiiWare is four times that size...

I'm not sure about The Germ Busters, but Dr Mario is from the SNES and original Gameboy days. It's one I was hoping would come out on the Virtual Console. I used to play it for hours.
