In my honest opinion, I don't think you really need to debate news stories and such on here, afterall, it's predominantly a forum about the Wii. There's already loads of forums for news and such. I'm a member of 2 local forums created by the local newspapers and they can get VERY heated, to the point where members have been banned or restricted in their posting because of what they've said. I am a fairly new member though and haven't had the chance to read right through the forums so perhaps wouldn't be the best person to listen to on such subjects.
Personally though, I see this site as a getaway from the real world where I can indulge in my love of all things Wii.
